Closing soon? Here's what you should know.

Before the meeting, your lender will send you a loan estimate outlining your approximate closing costs and any cash needed to close. You will also be issued a closing disclosure containing final numbers, an overview of the loan terms, costs and payments.
At closing, you can expect similar documents which include the specifics of what you've offered, negotiated and agreed upon earlier in the process. Be sure to give yourself enough time to carefully read over the documents. Any errors should be accounted for by now, but if anything is outstanding, you'll want to be sure to catch it.
You'll need to bring a photo ID of all person(s) on the contract as well as a certified check for the closing amount you owe. The title company can then register the new title on your behalf.
Now just relax, the keys are yours, and all that's left to do is walk across your threshold and celebrate!
